At Imperfection Design Architectural (a trade name of Design Ventures LLC, registered in New Jersey), we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities. We strive to make our website at imperfection.design (the “Site”) accessible and usable in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III, the New York State Human Rights Law, and other applicable accessibility laws in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Our goal is to provide an inclusive online experience that aligns with best practices for web accessibility.

We are an interior design firm specializing in conceptual interior design services, marketing presentations, and consultations. Please note that we are not licensed architects, engineers, or holders of any professional architectural or engineering licenses. Our services focus on aesthetic and conceptual elements, and we recommend consulting licensed professionals for any accessibility-related structural or building code requirements in your projects. While we promote accessible design principles in our work where applicable, this Accessibility Statement pertains specifically to our website.

We continually work to improve the accessibility of our Site by following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our standard, which is widely recognized as the benchmark for ADA compliance in digital spaces. WCAG is based on the POUR principles: Perceivable (information must be presentable in ways users can perceive), Operable (user interface components must be operable), Understandable (information and operation must be understandable), and Robust (content must be robust enough to be interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies).

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, work in a similar way. They help a website work, remember your choices and understand how it is used.

2. Cookies we use

  • Essential (always on): keep the Site secure and working, and remember your privacy choices (stored in your browser as “imperfection-consent-v2”).

  • Analytics: Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*; up to 2 years) and Microsoft Clarity (_clck, up to 1 year; _clsk, 1 day). They tell us which pages are visited and how they are used, so we can improve the Site.

  • Advertising: Google Ads (_gcl_au, up to 90 days) and Meta Pixel (_fbp and _fbc, up to 90 days). They measure inquiries and bookings from our ads and allow us to show our ads to people who have visited the Site.

  • Embedded services: Calendly, YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) and Google Maps may set their own cookies when you use them.

3. Your choices

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: analytics and advertising cookies are used only after you accept them in the banner. All other visitors: they are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time.

You can change your choice at any time with Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of every page. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and use Google Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com), Meta ad preferences (facebook.com/adpreferences) and the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

4. Changes and contact

We may update this Cookie Policy and will post the new version here with a new date. Questions: privacy@imperfection.design or +1 (424) 622-4261.
